HÖHNERStall in Cologne

I have often been to the Höhnerstall, at carnival, at weddings and just during normal daytime operations. The staff are always very friendly, the atmosphere is great and the food really tasty. I don't have to talk about Klölsch ;-) I always enjoy being there and can only recommend a visit!

Nice cozy atmosphere. Great service with fast attendance! From a photographer's point of view, we can recommend the Höhnerstall as a wedding location for celebrations. Every guest was looked after and the food was delicious. A special feature: In the current Corona situation, the Höhnerstall and the bridal couple came up with a perfect hygiene concept so that a personal celebration was possible. We look forward to attending another wedding here and would be happy to come back!

A really great room in my favorite brewery. At the carnival, the Höhnerstall in the Malzmühle is always full - by that I mean full but not too full. But we were already eating very well there

Great location for Weiberfastnacht. But it's freezing cold and you're standing in the draft with a jacket. Very bad !!!! Talking everything doesn't help! We won't go back here!

Typical and friendly welcoming place

So I enjoyed it, the drinks came quickly (as you would expect as a Cologne) and the portion was very large and delicious. However, it is a bit more expensive than in the malt mill, but also quieter and more comfortable. I had the tagliatelle with wild garlic sauce. Very tasty and with 13 € not too expensive.

Cozy restaurant with nice roof terrace, friendly staff and good kitchen. We were here last weekend with a total of 10 people and have first enjoyed a few cool mills Kölsch in beautiful weather on the roof terrace. Afterwards I had the Sauerbraten from the Ochsenbacke, which was recommended to me by the friendly service. What can I say? I have not regretted my decision. We will be back.

Very cool location. Through the entrance through you can convert the stairs to the wheelchair platform and bring one floor up. From there you can take the elevator to the restaurant. Here was immediately reacted and asked if I want to roll table to the table or I should help me to implement on the chair. Many great Kölsche court. Very good taste. The goose was great too. Beer was immediately renewed as is usual and even water and coke were brought immediately. This is unfortunately the case in most breweries. The staff is great. With Kölscher humor. The toilet area one floor down is reached with the wheelchair. We definitely come more often. The next time we just stay in the attached hotel which also has wheelchair room. For those who are limited in their movement and therefore often do not come to a bar, restaurant, etc., there are no obstacles. Thanks to the great staff you immediately feel like friends at home.

Absolutely correct, very nice experienced service staff, huge beer selection Ale Pale, with own brewery, food very good, interior is equally comfortable atmosphere, price performance is good, all in all to be recommended. ......

Had the Bill Goat salad and I have to say it's one of the tastiest salads I've ever eaten. Super! Would certainly recommend

Prices raised. Modern facility. I was prepared for something rustic and was therefore not really enthusiastic. Staff was nice.

Great city

You want Chipotile but you're in Germany? Have no fear, 'cause this as close to a knock-off as you'll find. Same thigh-meat chicken, similar barbacoa, and so forth. Except no fountain soda :( and not even coke products. that fritz cola is terrible!

On our final night we enjoyed a nice meal at this spot. Starting things off with their calves liver appetizer which was delicious and for my main course their freshly made pesto pasta with pine nuts. The perfect meal after having such heavy dishes earlier in the week. Give it a try!

Schweinshaxe is delicious. Crispy outside and so moist inside. Great.
